Particular emphasis for the family historian on providing genealogical information to help trace backwards and confirm, where possible, what happened after discharge from the army. WO97 SOLDIERS' DOCUMENTS INDEX

Discharges years 1855-72. Locates a soldier where the Regiment is not known. *Includes Scottish & Irish Regiments.

My index provides regiment, approximate year of birth and BIRTHPLACE of each soldier to help identify your ancestor,

giving access to his service documents and other army records.

Also searches 1873 onwards and pre 1855.
